Before President Trump was elected, our nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was falling like a rock!
President Obama was on record saying that 1.5% GDP was “The New Norm” (why would any president say this?) The ONLY thing I can attribute this to is “GLOBALISM”. The fact is, the trade deals that the Obama administration was brokering were moving our manufacturing plants (60 thousand +) to other countries. It is pretty clear that once Trump was elected, things started turning around.
Main Stream Media and Democrats in Washington keep saying that the upward trend was created by Obama. The graph below shows the truth. And although the 2017 numbers did not equal the 2014 numbers, they were obviously better than the 2016 numbers! The 2018 bar is only for the first two quarters of the year.
This graph was created to try and say that President Trump’s claims that the economy was booming were wrong. But I believe it shows a “TURNING AROUND” of a diminishing GDP. The increase seen between 2016 and 2017 represents an approximate 62% change in 1 year!
